Privacy Policy
The short version: The Active Home collects no personal information at all — anywhere on the site.
Last updated: October 2026
What we collect
Nothing. The Active Home has no accounts, no sign-up, and no forms. We do not ask for names, email addresses, or any other personal information, and nothing you or your child do in a game or in the printable generator is sent anywhere.
What is stored on your device
So a game is still there when you come back, each game saves a small amount of information in your browser's local storage, on your own device only:
- Items, visitors, and characters you have earned
- Your scores and best results
- Your place in the game
This information never leaves the device and is never shared with us or anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it, and the games start fresh. Worksheets from the printable generator are created in your browser and are never uploaded.
In Realm of Readers and Classic Story Shelf, stories can be read aloud using your device’s or browser’s built-in speech feature. The games themselves send nothing anywhere.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The Active Home does not use cookies, does not run analytics or tracking tools, and does not show advertising. The site is fully self-contained — fonts, game code, and the worksheet generator are served with the site itself, and using the site makes no requests to outside services.
Children's privacy
The Active Home is designed for children in grades K–5. Because the site collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. There are no chats, no messages, and no way for players to share anything with other people through the site.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add a feature that changes what is described here — for example, optional accounts — we will update this policy first and note the date of the change.
